DESTINATION
Benidorm is one of the main tourist destinations on the Spanish coast. In addition to boasting excellent beaches and a fantastic climate, it has probably the most recognisable skyline on the Spanish coast and one of the densest in Europe, thanks to its spectacular skyscrapers. Since the urban planning agreement that permitted it to continue growing “upwards” almost indefinitely was introduced, Benidorm has not stopped expanding, nor does it aim to as it is very conscious of its attraction and the tourist options it offers. Currently, Benidorm is a city that doesn’t place limits on its objectives: it has even notified UNESCO of its aspirations to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Benidorm
Beaches
With fine sand and clear waters, Benidorm's beaches are perfectly maintained throughout the year. However, its climate offers countless hours of sun in any season. Two large beaches divide its coastline: Levante Beach and Poniente Beach (south of the port). An always-lively promenade offers food, entertainment and gastronomy. Its beaches are also an example of accessibility. Highlights: Poniente Beach, Levante Beach, La Almadrava Cove, Tío Ximo Cove, Mal Pas Cove.
